Simply Soft Lemongrass Ultra Hydrating Moisturizer Review

I went to Savemart and found this moisturizer in a 4oz/118ml bottle called Simply Soft Lemongrass Ultra Hydrating Moisturizer with a blend of natural oils on close out for around $2.00. What caught my attention about this moisturizer was because of the ingredients. It said on the bottle that the ingredients were natural and organics. There's no artificial coloring, no testing on animals, the bottle was made with recycled material, and it was made in the USA (which we hardly see on most labels, or maybe it's just me).

The texture of the moisturizer is creamy and thick. It's very white and has a strong smell of lemongrass. It is said to be specifically formulated with rich fatty acids, antioxidant-rich herbal extracts, aromatherapy-grade essential oils, and emollients to leave you with healthier, younger-looking, silkier skin with no greasy residue. Can be apply to face, hands, or body.

I gave it a try last night and no break outs for me, which is great because I have combination skin with minor acne. I will keep using it for a week and see how it goes. If it doesn't work for my face, no worries because the texture of the moisturizer is very creamy so it will do well for a hand cream if you have very dry hands like mine. In case you don't know what lemongrass are here is a picture I found from the internet at http://www.planetearthdiversified.com/lemongrass.htm. I will also be posting more updates/pictures soon as this has been a while since I even started blogging. Also, I'm still new at blogging so excuse me and my grammars.

UPDATE: This moisturizer is a bit too creamy and thick so it's difficult to spread around your face. I think adding a bit of essential oils might help loosen up the cream a little. It works good under foundation but it will feel like you have heavy makeup, only for a few minutes though. I also notice that with the cream alone, it made my face turn white for a few moments then it faded. Overall, I think this moisturizer would work better on hands, knees, or elbow.
